This course is designed for people who want to learn the basics of archery. The focus is on Traditional Archery techniques that uses simple recurve or long bows and uses instinctive shooting techniques. For more information, read the FAQ's that compare the three types of archery.
Ages
Due to the required strength of the shooters, the minimum age is 13.
Equipment
- Recurve or long bow with no additional equipment (e.g. arrow rest, plunger, sights or weights)
- Arm protection
- Finger tab or shooting glove
Equipment can be rented for the duration of the course.
